Fine structured like a Burgundy, but purely Austrian!
the St. Laurent grape is related to the Pinot Noir but has disappeared in France completely. In Austria it is among the autochthonous varietals today.
Nice arome and balanced. Great layers of wood, as it was kept for 6 months in used Barrique barrels. Different red fruits in the nose. Good structure and length. A great match with goose and duck meats, with Mediterranean cuisine, and also spicy vegetarian food.
Wine Enthusiast:“Highly aromatic, black elderberries explode on the nose. Blueberry follows against a backdrop of graphite and plays the same delicious accords on the soft, supple and juicy palate of this appetizing wine. „
